The QCB issues QR600 million in treasury bills for March

Qatar Central Bank (QCB) issued treasury bills with a value of QR600 million for the month of March. The QCB stated on its website that the treasury bills were distributed as follows: QR300m for three months at an interest rate of 0.37 percent, QR200m for six months at an interest rate of 0.50 percent, and QR100m for nine months at an interest rate of 0.66 percent.

Qatar Central Bank executed this issue as part of a series executed on behalf of the Qatari Government and in accordance with a schedule outlined both by Qatar Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance. For banks that operate in Qatar, Treasury bills are issued through an auction process.
