Presidents of the UAE and Indonesia discuss bilateral relations

During a meeting between UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between their countries. At President Widodo’s invitation, the UAE President visited Indonesia to participate in the G20 Leaders’ Summit. UAE and Indonesian leaders reaffirmed their joint desire to further cement UAE-Indonesia ties, while simultaneously advancing the sustainable development of both countries, during discussions at Widodo’s residence in Solo.

During their meeting, they discussed the significance of the issues to be addressed at the G20 Summit, namely global and regional development, stability, and security challenges. During Indonesia’s current G20 presidency, Sheikh Mohamed praised the efforts of President Widodo to facilitate international dialogue.
